We are excited to offer a variety of orientation appointment types designed to elevate what matters most to you. All appointment types will feature class registration and earlier appointment dates offer the best class options and availability. Students will select an appointment type upon registration.

In addition to your appointment, join us for the New Student Welcome Bash to engage with the campus community prior to the semester starting.

On-Campus

Great option for out-of-state students, scheduling conflicts, or fully online students.

Veteran & Military Affiliated

  • Available to all new students with military/veteran affiliation.
  • 75 Minutes
  • 1:1 Appointment
  • Small group of 8 students or less per session
  • Facilitated by orientation student staff & UCCS Veteran & Military Affairs

International Student

Mode: Virtual & On Campus

Great option for international students.

  • Mandatory for all F-1 and J-1 new international students
  • Two parts:
    • Part 1 (Undergraduate students): 1 hour 1:1 virtual appointment for class registration support.
      • Facilitated by orientation student staff.
    • Part 2: International Student Orientation - Held on-campus - August 20th from 8:30-4:00pm

Summer Admit

  • Available only to summer admits
  • 1 hour
  • 1:1 appointment
  • Small group of 8 students or less per session
  • Facilitated by orientation student staff

Accelerated Nursing (May Cohort)

  • Available only to students admitted into the May Cohort of the ABSN program
  • 1.5 hours
  • 15-20 students
  • Facilitated by orientation student staff and academic advisors
