Register & Attend a New Student Welcome Bash
Register for a New Student Welcome Bash. New Student Welcome Bash is exclusively designed for incoming students and their families. While not required, the New Student Welcome Bash provides an extension to the Orientation Appointment with opportunities to tour campus, visit with academic services, and connect with many campus resources.
Upload Immunization Records
All UCCS students are required to submit Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) immunization records prior to attending classes. In addition to the MMR, all incoming Freshman living in housing must provide proof of receiving the Meningococcal ACWY vaccination or sign a waiver prior to move in. Reserve Parking Permit
Reserve a parking permit.
Commuter students: A limited number of parking permits are sold for fall and spring (no limits during the summer) on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must purchase a permit in advance online. For types of permits sold, permit prices, and availability visit pts.uccs.edu
On Campus Residents: Students residing on-campus must register for a resident parking permit online prior to the first day of classes. Residents bringing a vehicle later in the semester may register their license plate online at that time. Parking permits are included in housing fees.

Get Textbooks
With UCCS TAAP (Textbook Affordability and Access Program), your required course materials are available for you based upon the courses you are enrolled in. You will receive physical materials and have access to digital materials by the first day of class. For more information, please check out the TAAP website.
Upload Mobile ID Photo
Upload Mobile ID Photo. For instructions on how to upload your ID photo, visit liononecard.uccs.edu or contact the University Center ID/Info Desk at 719-255-3450. Your student ID card gives you access to your residence hall and dining (if living on campus), Gallogly Recreation and Wellness Center, various events and more. Following the upload of your approved photo, download the UCCS Mobile and Transact eAccounts apps to gain full ID card access via your phone. For instructions or FAQs visit liononecard.uccs.edu. If you need to pick up a physical ID due to circumstances that do not allow for a mobile ID, visit the University Center ID/Info Desk.
Complete GPS Gateway Days Waiver
If enrolled in a GPS class, please complete the GPS Gateway Days waiver. Gateway Days is an immersive experience designed to provide first-year students at UCCS, with access to classes, resources, and activities at UCCS. All of this happens pre-term to the official start of the fall semester and assists first-year students with the transition to campus. Gateway Days includes a variety of activities including, but not limited to, field trips, Campus Recreation activities, West Lawn events, Chalk the Walk, College Fest, Community Fest, and the First-Year Frenzy Job Fair.
