The UCCS Orientation Experience

What to Expect at Orientation:

Online Pre-Orientation Modules

Step #1 - After registering for orientation students receive an access link to  log into UCCS Canvas to complete the required online pre-orientation. The pre-orientation will take about 1 hour to complete and can be done in multiple sittings and will prepare you for your orientation appointment.

Orientation Appointment

Step #2 - During this 1-1.5 hour appointment, students will meet with student Orientation Leaders to enroll in their first semester classes. Choose from a variety of appointment types including: On-campus, virtual, and veteran & military affiliated. Earlier dates offer the best selection of classes.

Attend New Student Welcome Bash (Encouraged and Optional)

Step #3 - Register and attend a New Student Welcome Bash within your UCCS applicant status page. Come tour campus, connect with faculty, meet student clubs, and engage with campus resources. We'd love to celebrate you joining the mountain lion community.
